Chris Harris – Osteopath & Cranial Specialist
Chris graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1994, where he first discovered his passion for Cranial Osteopathy—especially in paediatric care. What began as curiosity quickly evolved into a clear calling, leading him to specialise in this field through postgraduate training, international collaboration, and decades of hands-on clinical experience.
Since 1995, Chris has been closely involved with the Sutherland Cranial College, earning a Fellowship and learning from some of the field’s most respected figures, both in the UK and abroad. His work has taken him from the UK to New Zealand, Trinidad, and more recently Costa Rica, where he volunteered with Hands with Heart, offering osteopathic care to disabled children and young adults in indigenous communities.
A key part of Chris’s clinical focus is Osteodontics—the intersection of Cranial Osteopathy and orthodontic/dental work. Inspired by a chance encounter in 2003, he has since trained extensively in this area, including courses with the late Skip Truitt. Chris is an advocate for collaborative, interdisciplinary care, particularly for children, and is an active member of the Society for Dentofacial Growth and Function.
Despite his specialism, Chris continues to enjoy the wide scope of Osteopathic practice, treating patients from newborns to those in their late 90s. His approach is defined by curiosity, compassion, and a constant drive to deepen the impact of Osteopathic treatment.
He often says he’d still be doing this work even if he won the lottery—and he means it.
