Rumana qualified as a dental hygienist at Leeds Dental Hospital in 1990 and has since worked in leading central London private dental practices. She has gained degrees in Oral Health Science and Dental Studies, a teaching certificate, and experience as a training development manager for a large dental corporate.

A finalist for the Oral Health Awards 2017, she has contributed to dental publications and appeared on “Richard & Judy” discussing the “tongue manicure” treatment.

In 2019, she qualified as a Myofunctional Therapist with Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and has since trained in Buteyko breathing, Myomunchee, Dental Acupuncture, TMJ therapy, and the YTM Tool (Level 3 Diploma).

Her keen interests lie in art, music, yoga, meditation and providing charitable commitments in her own time.

She currently works as a Myofunctional Therapist with Myofunctional Therapy UK and as a dental/TMJ therapist in specialist practice, and with her calm and caring approach provides holistic and evidence-based care
